Common transformer windings have two connection methods, namely "delta connection" and "star connection"; in the connection group of the transformer, "D represents delta connection, and "Yn" represents star connection with neutral wire.

Common transformer windings have two connection methods, namely "delta connection" and "star connection"; in the connection group of the transformer, "D represents delta connection, and "Yn" represents star connection with neutral wire. Y represents a star shape, n represents a neutral line; "11" represents that the line voltage Uab on the secondary side of the transformer lags the line voltage Uab on the primary side by 330 degrees (or 30 degrees ahead).

The connection group representation method of the transformer is: capital letters indicate the connection mode of the primary side (or primary side), and lowercase letters indicate the connection mode of the secondary side (or secondary side). Y (or y) is star connection, and D (or d) is delta connection. The number uses clock notation to indicate the phase relationship between the primary and secondary side line voltages. The primary side line voltage phasor is used as the minute hand, fixed at the 12 o'clock position of the clock, and the secondary side line voltage phasor is used as the hour hand.

Yn, d11", where 11 means: when the primary side line voltage phasor is at the 12 o'clock position of the clock as the minute hand, the secondary side line voltage phasor is at the 11 o'clock position of the clock. That is, the line on the secondary side The voltage Uab lags the primary side line voltage UAB by 330 degrees (or leads by 30 degrees).

The two windings of the transformer are combined to form 4 types of wiring groups: "Y, y", "D, y", "Y, d" and "D, d". Our country only uses "Y, y" and "Y, d". Since there are two types of Y connection: with neutral line and without neutral line, without neutral line, no symbol is added, and with neutral line, the letter n is added after the letter Y. n indicates that the neutral point has a lead wire. Yn0 wiring group, UAB and uab overlap, the hour and minute hands are both on 12. "12" is represented by "0" in the new wiring group.
