Three-phase dry transformers are the main components of various power supplies and electrical equipment. It is a device that uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to change the AC voltage. The main components are the primary coil, the secondary coil and the iron core (magnetic core).
A transformer is a device that transforms AC voltage, current and impedance. When an AC current is passed through the primary coil, an AC magnetic flux is generated in the iron core (or magnetic core), which induces a voltage (or current) in the secondary coil.
Dry-type transformers are widely used in local lighting, high-rise buildings, airports, terminals, CNC machinery and other places. Simply speaking, dry-type transformers are transformers whose cores and windings are not immersed in insulating oil.
The safe operation of dry-type transformers and their service life depend largely on the safety and reliability of the transformer winding insulation.
